Answers
to the usual
first questions.
Logistics, pricing, insurance, style — the things people often want to know before they pick up the phone. If something isn't here, ask on the consultation call.
How much does a session cost?
Sessions are $150–$300 for a 50-minute session. We’ll go over logistics on the consultation call so there are no surprises — including any questions about insurance and sliding scale.
Do you take insurance?
Out-of-pocket only; payment plans available. On the consultation call we can walk through what your specific plan covers.
Do you do virtual sessions?
Yes — I see clients both in person at my office in Los Angeles and virtually through a secure telehealth platform. Many clients mix both depending on the week.
What if I've never done therapy before?
Then you’re in good company — a lot of my clients are first-timers. The free consultation is specifically designed to make the first step feel less daunting. You don’t need to know what’s “wrong” or have the right words. Just show up and we’ll figure it out together.
How long will I be in therapy?
Honestly, it depends. Some clients come for a specific issue and wrap up in a few months. Others work with me for a year or more as they move through bigger shifts. There’s no right answer — we’ll reassess together regularly.
How does the free fifteen-minute consultation work?
We hop on a short call so you can get a feel for me, and I can understand what’s bringing you in. No commitment, no forms, no pressure. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so and help you find someone who is.
That's what
the call is for.
Fifteen minutes, free. If I'm not the right fit, I'll help you find someone who is.
